SO WHY DO WE NEED A WEDDING VIDEO ANYWAY?

While your photos capture those special moments in time, your video gives those moments context. Those vows, that hilarious best man speech, the applause after your kiss. Your video celebrates those happy and teary moments for years to come

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

Durban, South Africa, but my weddings have taken me all over South Africa as well as internationally.

WHAT PACKAGES DO YOU OFFER?

Shoot me an email here and I’ll send them through.

HOW DO YOU WORK ON THE DAY?

My whole approach to filming is to keep the day as natural as possible. That means no wired microphones attached to you, no awkward posing and no cheesy, forced moments. I work around your photographer, letting them call most of the shots. Most of my couples forget that I am there altogether and that allows me to capture those natural moments.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

All weddings are booked on a first come, first served basis. A signed contract and 50% deposit will secure your date. The rest of the payment is due the week before the wedding.

DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT?

I sure do. Having a second pair of hands allows me to capture a lot more detail on the day. You also get 2 cameraman capturing your day from 2 different angles.

HOW DO WE GET OUR FILMS?

Your films are supplied in HD on a customised USB flash drive.

HOW LONG BEFORE WE GET OUR FILMS?

I usually work on an 8-week turn around but this can vary depending on which time of year your wedding is.

CAN WE MAKE CHANGES TO OUR VIDEO?

I like to meet with all couples before the wedding day to get their expectations. If however there are some things that you would like added or removed, changes can be made within reason.

HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP OUR FILMS FOR?

After receiving your final product, your raw footage will be kept for 3 months and your final wedding films are kept for a year.

HAVE YOU EVER FILMED A CELEBRITY WEDDING?

I’ve filmed a couple of Springbok & Sharks rugby players weddings. Does that count?

WHO TOOK THE PICTURES ON YOUR WEBSITE?

A friend of mine Lauren Setterberg of Lauren Setterberg Photography. She’s a real talent.
